New Horizons Computer Learning Centers is seeking an experienced, professional Technical Instructor for both our Instructor-led and Mentored Learning Lab.
Instructor responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct training sessions covering specified areas, as assigned by Training Manager and/or General Manager.
- Assist the Training Manager in supporting the Sales Department.
- Provide knowledge base to Account Executives in areas of expertise.
- Assist Account Executives in determining client needs.
- Set up computers at onsite locations and perform basic troubleshooting when equipment is not operational.
- Coordinate training schedule with the training demands of the client and Center.
- Formulate teaching outline and determine instructional methods.
- Develop teaching aids such as demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.
- Evaluate trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training.
- Maintain required courseware Certifications
- Maintain and direct simultaneous courses via a variety of modalities.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software as needed.
- Maintain course libraries.
- Must be able to work with a variety of online communication tools.
- Must be able to learn new material/courses quickly.
The most qualified candidate will meet the following educational, training, and experience requirements:
- Technical certifications such as A+; Net +
- SQL certifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Previous training experience
Candidate must be comfortable with leading a classroom in courseware, as well as assisting students in a lab environment.
